It’s a known fact and no secret that Bates Motel serves as the sequel to Alfred Hitchcock’s incredibly popular horror movie Psycho. The A&E Network series follows Norman and his mother, Norma Bates, beginning a fresh new chapter of their lives after a horrible tragedy.
Things, however, do not go according to plan (when do they ever, right?). Something is terribly wrong with Norman, but his mother is overbearing and overprotective, so Norman’s case becomes even worse.
Bates Motel introduces us to a whole new world before Norman became the killer we all know from Psycho.
Check out the following facts and let us know how many you already knew! And don’t forget to tune in to the Season 5 premiere of Bates Motel tonight on A&E!
