New Cast Member Joins ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’

‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ is about to welcome a new housewife as Tinsley Mortimer joins returning ladies Bethenny Frankel, Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Sonja Morgan.

Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City has an official premiere date of April 5 at 9/8c and although the show is approaching its ninth season, the drama is just getting started!

Fans can expect their typical favorites: Bethenny Frankel, Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, as well as new housewife, Tinsley Mortimer.

Mortimer, is originally from Virginia and spent her youth going to a  boarding school in New Jersey. While there, she met her first husband, Topper Mortimer. Shortly after finishing school the two left for the big apple where Tinsley attended attended Columbia University and began working at Vogue.

Ultimately, she changed careers and went into public relations creating a successful brand that launched into multiple  businesses. Making her extremely successful.

But unfortunately like many of the New York ladies, she too faced hard times.

Her marriage fell apart and after taking some time alone to reflect on herself, Morgan encouraged her to come out of her shell and join the ladies on the show.
