All the Easter Eggs in ‘Legends of Tomorrow’s’ Doomworld

Video Game Dominators

Earlier this season, Legends was part of a three-part Arrowverse crossover called “Invasion.” In it, the casts of Legends, The Flash, Arrow and just Supergirl were brought together to battle an invading alien race called the Dominators. Like their comic book inspirations, the Dominators were gigantic spindly yellow skinned creatures with razor-sharp teeth. Funnily enough, creatures fitting that description made an appearance in “Doomworld” in a very different and very funny context.

After Rory saves Nathan (Nick Zano) from Thawne, he brings him to Ray (Brandon Routh) to restore his memory.  However, instead of being a brilliant scientist-adventurer, the “Doomworld” version of Ray is a somewhat bumbling janitor. Consequently, he spends his free time playing a video game with antagonists called Dominators. And just like in “Invasion,” Ray fights the aliens with a dwarf star energy weapon. Of all of the evil things the Legion does in the episode, forcing Ray to relieve his forgotten victories in diminished first-person shooter form is one cruelest.
