‘Scream’ Season 3: New Changes Announced; Reasons Why Fans Can’t Miss The MTV Show

Scream Season 3 is all set to premiere soon. But the new season will come with new changes.

The most popular MTV show Scream returns with the third season in an all new avatar! The network has announced new changes from the cast to the executive producers as well as the story. It will be interesting to see how fans respond to this creative reboot.

"“The first change is actress aka rapper aka mogul Queen Latifah, Shakim Compere, and Yaneley Arty will serve as executive producers for Flavor Unit Entertainment.The second change is Brett Matthews, will also serve as series executive producer and the new show runner. To his credit includes super popular TV shows such as The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural.The third change is the additional executive producers to the production team. This includes Craven, Tony DiSanto, Liz Gateley, Marianne Maddalena and Cathy Konrad. Matthew Signer and Keith Levine are producers. And Harvey and Bob Weinstein will continue to serve as EPs under the Dimension TV umbrella.” (Via MTV)"

  1. Lakewood Out, New Location In

Season 1 and Season 2 of Scream has seen brutal murders taking place in the small fictional town of Lakewood. But Scream Season 3 will be set in a new location. The interesting part of Lakewood was the mysterious past it carried. Now, with the new location, a new story will follow the cast of the show.

  1. New Characters Will Replace The Old

There has been no satisfying ending given to Scream Season 2 and its two-hour Halloween special. And now with the inclusion of unannounced fresh cast, fans will no longer see their favorite characters in the new season.

Emma Duval’s (Willa Fitzgerald), sassy Audrey (Bex Taylor-Klaus), witty Noah Foster (John Karna), and the mysterious Kieran Wilcox (Amadeus Serafini) will be all replaced. But with the announcement of the new cast comes the hope that the six episodes of the new season will be brief yet thrilling.

The main plotline of the last two seasons of MTVs Scream has surrounded the mysterious masked killer.  With a new executive producer at the helm, it will be interesting to see whether the series will continue the same theme. Or will there be no masked killer?
