#9 Finn and Rachel – Glee

Finn Hudson and Rachel Berry met in the very first episode of Glee and from that moment on, you knew they were something special. He was the quarterback and she was the nobody who was striving to be a star.

For Rachel it was love at first sight, and though Finn was dating head cheerleader Quinn Fabray, there was something there for him as well. It took a while for them to find their ground and officially become ‘Finchel’ but when they did, it was beautiful to watch it unfold and when they weren’t together it broke your heart, but you knew they’d eventually find their way back to one another.

Now, this may seem controversial with Cory Monteith’s heartbreaking and untimely death in July of 2013, but after his passing it seemed only right to have Finn pass away in an unknown accident, and it was one of the most heartbreaking hours of television. Finn and Rachel were always meant to end up together, they were endgame. Even Glee creator, Ryan Murphy has said the show was supposed to end with Rachel doing her time on Broadway and going back to Lima where Finn would be teaching Glee club, and when he asked what she was doing, she’d tell him she’s home. End scene. And break our hearts all over again.
