Best Sterek moments: The Beta Talisman

Setting the Stage: With Scott taken captive by Kate, it’s an all-hands-on-deck type situation which means that recently turned beta Liam is about to be thrown into the deep end. The only issue is that he’s still working on controlling his abilities and the looming full moon is only making matters worse.

Luckily, Derek has a “special” Hale family talisman with him that has been used by the family for generations to “help betas control themselves under the full moon.” The only problem is that the talisman possesses no supernatural powers – which Stiles quickly picks up on and decides to plays along with Derek’s plan.

Why this Sterek Moment is One for the Books: One of the things that I have always enjoyed most about Derek and Stiles is the incredible chemistry they have when in any given scene. They’re at their best when getting to play off the comedic side of things and the way in which Derek literally uses his body language alone to urge Stiles into helping him with his ploy shows how far the duo came from the day they first met.
