As we journey back to Middleton this Sunday in the latest episode of Good Witch, Martha (Catherine Disher) is over the moon when her son shares his engagement news with her and is quick to make his wedding the event of the season. Looking to take command, Martha quickly begins putting together an over-the-top affair despite the couple’s desire to have a small and simple wedding.
Things get even more interesting when the mother of the bride, Elizabeth (Allison Hossack) arrives and quickly decides that the plans Martha has worked tirelessly to put together are not up to standards. Wanting an even more elegant event, Elizabeth pushes Martha out of the picture. In fact, Elizabeth is so unhappy with the plans that she decides to fire al of the Middleton vendors lined up to work on the wedding and replace them with her own vendors from the city.

Elsewhere, Cassie (Catherine Bell) welcomes two new adoptive parents and their daughter Pavla (Keller Viaene) to Grey House where the young girl struggles to accept her new parents. Seeing Pavla struggle with the change, Abigail (Sarah Power) steps in to share her personal struggles with family an works to help her connect with her new parents.
Also making their way through Middleton is Sam’s (James Denton) sister Joanne (Kate Greenhouse), who is quick to pick up on the love Sam has for Cassie. Seeing the way her brother lights up when around Cassie, Joanne questions whether Sam’s stance on remarrying has changed and is surprised when she finds it has not.
It’s a topic that indirectly comes up to Cassie as Joanne and she reflect on the wedding drama going on with Martha’s son, and Sam’s views on marriage manage to leave Cassie surprised and wondering what their future holds.
