Prepare for another season of second changes at the Villalobos Rescue Center because Animal Planet’s hit series Pit Bulls & Parolees is back for an all-new season filled with happiness and heartbreak!

Following her leg injury and the lengthy recovery that came with it, Tia is finally ready to dive back into the full swing of things with some help from her family and the parolees. As the rescue center continues to grow and expand, everyone will need to do their part to keep things up and running as smoothly as possible so that they can continue to fight the never-ending battle of rescuing our four-legged friends who have been abandoned and left for dead – such as the pup at the heart of our sneak peek clip from this Saturday’s premiere!

Among the many stories intertwined into the summer premiere is that of Hilda, a smaller dog who was left on the side of the road covered in maggots and fighting for her life. After being rescued by the team and transported to the nearby vets, Hilda underwent immediate surgery and, much to the surprise of the entire team, she fought through it all to earn the nickname of Hilda the Miracle Dog.

With her darkest days behind her, the team will next focus on helping to rehabilitate her and prepare her for the day she finds her new forever home which will be made possible by the continued efforts of the Villalobos Rescue Center – which fans will once again have the chance to support this month via the annual “You Watch, We Give” event.

Coinciding with this year’s National Dog Day on August 26, Animal Planet’s “You Give, We Give” event will once again aim to raise funds for the Villalobos Rescue Center though the campaign that encourages viewers to tune-in to help raise funds. The more viewers watching, the more money donated to the Villalobos Rescue Center which ultimately means more second chances for dogs out there in need of their help.
