During its presentation at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, the ABC midseason schedule was laid out for those in attendance and with it comes premiere dates for several of the network’s most anticipated new offerings as well as for returning favorites. When ABC’s midseason offerings arrive this spring, they’ll bring with them a wave of change to several nights of the week but it’s ABC’s plan for Thursday nights which is sure to get fans talking!

The fun begins Thursday March 22 when the yet-to-be-titled Grey’s Anatomy spinoff debuts with a 2-hour season premiere event leading out of a fresh new episode of the network’s flagship program. The following week, the Grey’s spinoff will settle into its regular 9 p.m. time slot which bumps Scandal to 10 p.m. where it will remain throughout the remainder of its season. Once Scandal‘s farewell run comes to a close, Quantico will inherit the 10 p.m. time slot beginning on Thursday, April 26 with its Season 3 premiere.
