An Enchanting Tale: As Cassie’s birthday arrives, there is nothing she wants more than for all of her family and friends to come together to celebrate with her via a special part at Grey House. However, after a string of unfortunate events, it seems like a curse could soon be falling over Cassie who will need to conjure up more than a little big a magic to set things right. Making things even more intriguing are the parallels between Cassie and her great aunt, the Grey Lady, who went missing on her birthday decades ago.
Why We’re Under Its Spell: Family growing apart is something that many of us can sympathize with as life can have a way of pulling those we love in different directions which made the plot of the film extremely relatable. It was also nice to see the parallels between Cassie and the infamous Grey Lady which served as a fun secondary storyline to the film’s central arc.
