An Enchanting Tale: Hoping to get a break from her busy life as the mayor of Middleton and mother to a newborn, Cassie and Jake plan a much-needed vacation. However, life quickly throws a string of curveballs her way in the form of a crime wave hitting Middleton and her stepdaughter Lori being accused of the crimes, a mysterious video of Cassie seeming to magically disappear hitting the internet and a visit from her estranged foster mother! With the support of her family and friends, though, Cassie is able to turn things around and save the day.
Why We’re Under Its Spell: As the Good Witch franchise hit the halfway mark in its run, the franchise hit a bit of a snag with a film that failed to ignite the same magic the first four films had managed to spark. However, that’s not to say The Good Witch’s Charm didn’t have its own special moments. We loved getting to see Cassie and Jake juggle life as new parents and it was fun to meet yet another member of Cassie’s family.
