New synopsis provides insight into Danneel Ackles Supernatural debut

This winter, Danneel Ackles will make her Supernatural debut and, thanks to the release of a new synopsis, we finally know when and how she’ll make her debut!

Nearly two months after word first broke that Danneel Ackles would be joining the Supernatural family via a recurring role in Season 13, we finally know just how Ackles will be brought into the fold as well as when fans can first expect her character to arrive!

Heading into the weekend, The CW unveiled its scheduling plans for the week of Feb. 5 which has gifted us with the official synopsis for Episode 13, “Devil’s Bargain,” which will stand as Ackles’ debut episode.

In the episode, ominously titled “Devil’s Bargain,” Sam, Dean and Castiel find themselves desperately searching for Lucifer, who is up to no good in the thirteenth hour of the season. As teased by the episode’s title, Lucifer finds himself turning to local faith healer Sister Jo (Ackles) to strike up an unlikely deal which we can only presume will spell out trouble for the Winchesters.

Given her role as a faith healer, a role which is linked to healing by religious belief and prayer, it’s going to be interesting to see what leads Sister Jo to strike up a deal with the devil and that plot line is surely going to be explored during the character’s Season 13 arc.
