Eric Kripke shared a brainstorm document from Supernatural’s early days to mark the Wayward Sisters episode.

Wayward Sisters, the second (and so far, much more promising) attempt at a Supernatural spin-off, debuted last week by way of a backdoor pilot and to celebrate the occasion, Eric Kripke shared a never-before-seen list of monster, myth and episode ideas that informed the wacky and wild show we know and love. Kripke is, of course, the creator of Supernatural and oversaw the first five seasons, before stepping down as “day-to-day showrunner” to serve the show as an advisor and “safety net.”

Kripke tweeted a screenshot of all the ideas he came up with in the early days. It should come as no surprise that the list exhibits not only an extensive knowledge of supernatural creatures but also highly specific regional horror stories, urban legends and murder sprees.

The document was called “Random, Free Form Idea Spewing,” apparently of the no-bad-idea school of brainstorming. (Alligators in sewers, huh?) It’s unclear what the asterisks mean.

Here they are, transcribed:

"Winchester Mystery House**James Dean Death Car**Ghosts of Wild Animals possessing domestic onesHighway Mystery Sports** Insect Infestation Urban Legends–tapeworm diet, spiders in hair, etc.** Wendigo** Ghost of Dead Boy beneath water — paranormal JAWSSatanic Cults and Devil WorshipThunderbirdsRoanokeDover DemonPhantom ClownsHull House–where Devil Baby livedBell WitchMUtilated Bride**Amherst Poltergeist–Amityville Horror style hauntingSmurl Haunting–also Amityville Horror styleCrystal SkullKentucky GoblinsAntoine LeBlanc–N.J. murderer skinned by authorities.
