5) Whose body is on the stage?
Ok, fandom — I would really love to know your thoughts on this one. We can clearly see Lilith is using her demonic abilities in a banquet hall that’s been set for a party, but she’s walking toward the front stage as if it were an alter. If you look closer though, you can see that there is a body lying on the stage. We can’t tell if he’s already dead (or if he’s about to be), so who is it and what does he have to do with Lilith gaining power?
If Lilith is looking to bring her son back to life, this mother of demons could be sacrificing other boys in the Shadow World as part of her ritual, or maybe the victim was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It could also mean that we’ll see other sacrifices in Shadowhunters season 3. Do you think he’s a character we’ve already met on the series, or someone new? Let us know your thoughts and theories!
