Big Brother live feeds information revealed

The Big Brother live feeds are back this winter. Online viewers will get to watch the new cast of celebrities outside of the scheduled episodes. A press release by CBS just revealed some more information about the Big Brother live feeds, including when they will officially be turned on by the production team.

As previously reported on this site, the season premiere will be shown on CBS All Access. That will take place at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Then, the feeds will be turned off until the West Coast can watch the first episode. At 9 p.m. PT / 12 a.m. ET, the Big Brother live feeds will get turned back on. This will be when fans can really start to get to know the 11 celebrities.

Big Brother live feeds provide backstory

While the live feed subscriptions are optional for fans, there is typically a lot that takes place that doesn’t make it to the episodes on CBS. That could especially be true for a cast of 11 celebrities, all of whom are working toward winning the $250,000 cash prize this season. The stakes could lead to a lot of additional drama.

It’s unclear if the Big Brother live feeds will showcase all of the competitions like with Big Brother: Over The Top, or if there are going to be some segments where they turn off the feeds. That will likely become very clear within the first 24 hours of this season. Fans who subscribe to the live feeds want to see everything. But, the production team often limits what is shown.

The season premiere is coming up fast

As the Big Brother Twitter page has been advertising, the season premiere has almost arrived. The February 7 episode is part of a three-night event on CBS, giving fans three straight days of episodes at 8 p.m. PT/ET. The full schedule breaks down how it will all work, but it also underscores that the season will only last roughly three weeks.
