Deadpool 2 dropped a new trailer that introduces us to Cable in hilarious fashion.

Deadpool 2 introduces us to Cable in a new trailer that just dropped Wednesday morning. It’s everything you’d expect out of Deadpool, but before we dive into the details, go ahead and check it out below if you haven’t already!

Now that you have hopefully watched the trailer, let’s dive in to what we learned from it. First off, Cable is going to have plenty of screen time. He states that he was born into war and shortly after, Deadpool promptly interrupts the trailer to let us all know what Josh Brolin wears on his arm before the CGI is done. While that isn’t quite the typical behind-the-scenes content we’re used to, but it works within the scope of the trailer (and in Deadpool’s head, anyway).

More from Marvel Movies

Deadpool makes a dig on Justice League in the trailer, too. He brings up how the film removed Henry Cavill’s mustache. What exactly did we learn from that? Deadpool is as petty as ever and it’s wonderful.

On a more serious note, Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Domino make appearances in the trailer and both of them are powerful in their own ways. Negasonic Teenage Warhead is also wearing a new X-Men suit and while we don’t get a great look at it in the trailer, it’s something to look forward to seeing in more detail. Domino has been known to partner up with Cable in the comics, so her presence is one that could spell even more trouble for Deadpool.

What else did we learn about Cable in the trailer? Well, he loves his guns and that metal arm of his packs a punch. He’s a huge threat and will provide a nice contrast to Deadpool. Let’s not forget to mention Blind Al and her little moment when she points a gun in the wrong direction. Her presence is always welcome. Also, Deadpool enjoys playing with action figures, which surprises roughly no one.
