Just as predicted, Black Panther is already a massive success. The movie is officially in theaters Friday, February 16, but, as is the case for all Marvel movies, there were early screenings since Thursday evening. If you were one of Black Panther‘s first audiences, you saw for yourself how packed the theaters were last night. And if you have yet to go check out the movie, a quick look at Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook proves how many people rushed to see it.

According to Deadline, Disney is reporting $25.2 million so far as of Friday morning. With that number, the two records set so far are: (records are in bold for easy viewing)

Second best Thursday for Marvel behind Avengers: Age of Ultron, which collected $27.6 million. The third best Thursday goes to Captain America: Civil War ($25 million), which was passed by Black Panther only by .2 million.

Second best major pre-summer release after Batman v. Superman ($27.7 million).

Other notable records broken before the film’s release:

Fourth-biggest pre-seller of all-time on Fandango only behind Star Wars: The Force AwakensStar Wars: The Last Jedi and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The movie is, however, the number one biggest superhero ticket-seller.

Friday numbers are in! With $75.8 on its first day (Friday and also Thursday night ticket sales included), Black Panther can add having the fourth-biggest superhero opening day in history to its bragging rights! The top there are: Avengers: Age of Ultron ($84 million), Batman v Superman ($81 million), and The Avengers ($80 million).

Top-grossing film in history by a black director, Ryan Coogler. Also for featuring the largest black cast. This record previously belonged to Straight Outta Compton.

Fifth biggest opening of all-time! That’s right, forget superhero film records, with a weekend total of $192 million, Black Panther is now number 5 of all-time for a weekend — and that’s $192 million domestically. When you add in international sale, the grand total is $361 million.

Biggest opening in February, a record that previously belonged to Deadpool ($132 million).

Second biggest opening for Marvel, behind only The Avengers. That means it has beat Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, and Iron Man 3.

Beat The Avengers in Wednesday salesThe Avengers collected $13.6 million on its first Wednesday, Black Panther has gathered $14.5 million.

Sixth highest-grossing (domestically) superhero origin film. Keep in mind, it’s only been a week since its premiere. Black Panther is sure to climb and break into the top three, possibly even become number one, a spot that currently belongs to Wonder Woman. Behind it are The Amazing Spider-ManBatman, and Doctor Strange, Iron Man among others.

Eight highest-grossing (domestically) MCU film. Black Panther has taken down Thor: Ragnarok, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, and others. Ahead of it are still Spider-Man Homecoming, Marvel’s The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and others.

Top highest-grossing for Monday, beating Star Wars: The Force Awaken almost 42 thousand.

Worldwide total so far (Saturday, February 23): $548.9 million
