10 TV shows you won’t believe turn 10 in 2018

Breaking Bad (AMC)
10th Anniversary: January 20
Starring: Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Anna Gunn, Giancarlo Esposito, Dean Norris, Bob Odenkirk, and Jonathan Banks
Legacy: Breaking Bad took to the anti-hero and turned it on its head. While you were able to feel for Bryan Cranston’s character Walter White, there were so many times that he made you feel uncomfortable and even a little dirty for rooting for him. Yet, so many of us did even when he passed fully onto the dark side and was able to turn into Heisenberg on a dime.
Then, there was Jesse (Aaron Paul), who was looking to just make a few bucks, but instead got caught up in White’s grandiose ideas and scheming. His life was destroyed because of White, one of the few things we couldn’t forgive.
The ensemble cast played off each other extremely well, getting glimpses of Hank at the DEA or Gus as the endearing entrepreneur who secretly was a drug kingpin. Breaking Bad captivated a massive audience, garnering more than 10 million viewers in its finale, an amazing mark for a cable show.
We even got Better Call Saul out of it, a spin off showing how the life of Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) came to be. Breaking Bad won 16 Emmys, including Outstanding Drama twice, and Cranston won for Outstanding Lead Actor four times. Yes, it was just that good.
Where To Watch: All five seasons are available to stream on Netflix.
