The Man in the High Castle Season 3: Has Frank’s fate been revealed?

The Season 2 finale left Frank’s fate uncertain, but has it now been revealed for The Man in the High Castle Season 3?

Season 2 of The Man in the High Castle ended on a climatic scale of epic proportion. Impacting every character in their own way, the series left us with a whole bunch of questions that need to be answered in Season 3.
One character that had a significant impact in the finale was Frank Frink, the Japanese-American resistance fighter, former antique forger and ex-boyfriend to Juliana Crane. Frank, along with fellow resistance fighter Sarah, planted a homemade bomb in the Kempeitai HQ. Before they were able to make their escape, the bomb denotated, with them both in the blast radius.
We don’t see Frank after that. The finale ended and we have no confirmation of any kind if Frank survived the blast or not. Leaving that question to be answered in Season 3.
Franks fate may have been revealed already
While we still wait for a Season 3 premiere date. The fate of Frank may have already been revealed as the actor, Rupert Evans, has been cast for the Charmed reboot on the CW network. Rupert will play the recurring role of Harry, a professor, who is being described as the three sisters’ Whitelighter.
How this new role will affect Evans in High Castle is unclear. The reboot is still in the pilot stage, so may not evolve into anything. But if it is picked up it would be safe to assume that he would no longer be able to appear in the Amazon Prime show.
Because of this, can we assume that Frank has not survived the blast?
He was close to the bomb at the time but so was Inspector Kido, who we saw emerge from the wreckage badly injured. However, if Evans has been auditioning for new roles was this because his time at High Castle had come to an end? Unlike Kido has he not survived the blast?
He has been credited for appearances in Season 3, so there is the possibility he has survived. Then again this could be through flashbacks or alternate world Frank appearances rather than Frank surviving.
Even if he did survive, somehow, he couldn’t possibly last much longer. He would be badly injured and unable to avoid capture by the Japenese. They would no doubt execute him for bombing their HQ, so again, Frank is not surviving long. Whatever the outcome, by the end of Season 3 Frank will most likely make his last appearance.
