If you’re a religious fan of Riverdale, then you’re aware that the series has had an interesting sophomore run. From horror-camp to mobster lite, the teen drama has run the sub-genre gamut to varying degrees of success. This week, the series switches things up once again and delivers something a little more familiar to viewers of The CW. Wait a minute, is that… No, it can’t be. That’s actual, unadulterated teen drama!

Let’s take what we can get, especially when what we got was a beautifully photographed, much-needed back-to-basics episode of angst on acid on Adderall. Veronica grabs Archie and Bughead for a weekend in the woods while back home, Josie spills the tea on a low-boiling scandal and Cheryl stumbles into a connection with an unlikely new friend.

Let’s dig into the five most shocking developments from the latest jaw-dropping episode of Riverdale(Warning: It’s about to get real spoilery in here.)
