Riverdale season 2, episode 15 preview: Is Fred getting involved in the mob madness?

In the latest episode of Riverdale, Hiram’s game might have another player in Archie’s dad while Cheryl discovers her father’s will. Here’s everything you need to know.
As if Archie getting caught up in the middle of the Lodge family’s affairs wasn’t amateur hour enough, it seems as though Riverdale is throwing another Andrews into the ring. Given the scandal brewing between the mayor and sheriff, you would imagine other representatives will stand up to serve their town. Well, Fred Andrews looks primed for the job. Whether he’s doing it to spite Hiram or to work alongside him, good ol’ Fred’s considering a political turn.
You know things are getting bad in Riverdale when Archie’s dad dusts off his comfortable existence to get involved in the ugliness sinking its teeth in the former town with pep. Fred’s interest in running for mayor worries Archie as he might be a fresh pawn for the Lodges to hide behind on their mob chessboard. Elsewhere, Jughead continues digging to expose Hiram, Betty calls on Kevin’s help with Chic’s secrets, and Cheryl learns of her father’s will.
Will Fred decide to run for mayor? Would this potential mayoral run be good or bad news for the Lodges and, most importantly, Fred? Should Jughead give up the ghost and try a new angle for his Hiram witch hunt? What does Cheryl get, if anything, from her father’s will, and can she rise above her mother’s surely unnecessarily evil comments about her relationship with Toni?
