One Life to Live’s married couple, David and Melissa Fumero, crack a case together on Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Two well-loved stars from One Life to Live will be on screen together on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Oh, and they just happen to be married.
You just never know when the stars from the former ABC soap, One Life to Live, will pop up next. Melissa Fumero plays the role of Detective Amy Santiago on Brooklyn Nine-Nine on Fox where she will be joined by a special guest star. Her husband, and another OLTL alum, David Fumero, will be sharing the screen with her on Sunday, April 8.
The Puzzle Master
David will be stepping into his role as Vin Stermley, master of crossword puzzles. He will be asked to join the team to help solve the case of some mysterious arsons that are connected to his puzzles.

He will be working closely with Amy to solve the case. However, Amy’s fiance Jake is expected to be a little jealous when his girl gets along quite famously with her favorite author of crossword puzzles. TV Line had the scoop saying that the married couple will be highlighting their chemistry on screen as well. But don’t look for them to get too cozy as her heart still belongs to Jake.

Many soap fans are missing OLTL. David Fumero was well known for his role as Cristian Vega on the former ABC daytime drama. He was on from 1998 to 2012. His wife played the role of Adriana Cramer from 2004 to 2011. She landed the role of Amy on Brooklyn Nine-Nine back in 2013 when the Fox show premiered. The twosome married in 2007.
This will be like a One Life to Live reunion on screen, so don’t miss it! Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs Sunday nights at 8:30 ET on Fox.
