Season 6: “Sliding Bobs”

Surprisingly, the season 6 premiere of Bob’s Burgers opens up with a Linda and Bob-themed episode. It’s a rarity, but the episode I chose is “Sliding Bobs.” As I mentioned, it was the season opener for season 6 and what a way to start a season!

The episode begins with Bob becoming insecure about his mustache balding before Linda shares the story of how they met and explaining his mustache is what brought them together. The rest of the episode features the kids retelling of their parent’s infamous meeting and how in their versions, their parents would never meet.

Not only do we get the story of how Bob and Linda met, but a few twists added by the kids. The entire plot of the episode centers around Bob and Linda’s relationship and how they came to be. There’s no way it couldn’t be on my list.

The takeaway from “Sliding Bobs” is simple and it’s that no matter what, you’ll end up with who you’re supposed to. They might not end up together in the kid’s stories, but their love story did come true. Regardless of Bob had a mustache or not, I still believe the two would end up together.
