J.T is gone and buried on the Young and the Restless, but there could be something more to his story.

The drama certainly isn’t over on Young and the Restless just yet. Nikki has killed J.T. and now she, along with Victoria, Phyllis, and Sharon, have a dark secret to keep. Nikki apparently didn’t know her own strength when she whacked J.T. over the head trying to save her daughter from his violent attack. Now he is buried at Chancellor Park and this is the end for him…right? Maybe, maybe not.

According to fans of Young and the Restless who have witnessed this murder and burial, they believe that J.T. could still be alive. One person toted on social media, “I’m sorry I’m not buying JT dead. This is a soap.” This is certainly true. People come back from the dead all the time on daytime. So, this is definitely a real possibility. Another person expressed their unhappiness that the soap didn’t keep him around to tell why J.T. ended up being so violent.

Of course, executive producer and head writer, Mal Young, made it sound like actor Thad Luckinbill has exited the show for good. He recently thanked him for bringing the spousal abuse story line to the forefront so well. Does this really mean that he is gone for good?

Potential scenarios

If the fans are right in thinking that J.T. will be popping back up on Young and the Restless, then that would certainly make it quite interesting for the women who thinks he is dead. That would throw a kink into their plan to keep his death a secret.

Will J.T. dig his way out of his grave? It could like a horror flick when you see a hand pop up out of the dirt. However, that will probably not happen. It could be that later on down the road J.T. will reappear in Genoa City freaking everyone out.

He might come back to spill the details on his ‘death.’ Another real possibility could be that he finds his way out of the grave, but has amnesia and can’t remember what happened to him. He leaves town for a while and makes his way back later on. That would make way for Thad Luckinbill to return to Young and the Restless in the future.

He may also leave town and come back a few months or years later to seek revenge on the girls who threw him into a grave. However this all plays out, Luckinbill did do an amazing job with the story line that he was given. Keep watching Young and the Restless weekdays on CBS.
