Shadowhunters: Dom Sherwood talks becoming The Owl, teases the future of Clace

Hidden Remote: We know that from the Shadowhunters episode description we’re going to see another Lightwood family dinner with Maryse. Can you tease anything about how Jace is going to react to Maryse’s de-runing or Isabelle’s new “friend”?

Dom Sherwood: Well, now remember, Jace is not really there right now. It’s sort of just this Owl creature pretending to be Jace, wearing Jace’s visage as it were, as Shakespeare would have said (I don’t know if he would have said that), but he’s sort of this spy, this undercover infiltrator. To everyone else, he looks and feels like Jace, but he is on his own mission.

He has an agenda, and he couldn’t give any less care to what everyone else around that table is talking about. He doesn’t care about Maryse. He’s just trying to do Lilith’s bidding. That is his mission, and he (in his head) will succeed. As far as learning about Maryse and everything that’s been going on with her, or Izzy’s new friend she wants to introduce? Mmm, he doesn’t care. He’s not looking at that. That’s all I can say without giving anything away.
