Which Avengers: Infinity War deaths will stick?

Which characters died in Infinity War?

Let’s go over a quick refresher on which characters died in Infinity War, in order of occurrence.

Heimdall: The death that sets the stakes for what will follow – Thanos and his Black Order murder Thor’s best friend Heimdall (and plenty of others) aboard the Asgradian vessel they have invaded.

Loki: Unpredictable even in his final moments, Loki tries to turn the tables on Thanos. In an order to distract him, Loki offers up his services and approaches Thanos with a dagger in hand. Once Loki makes his move, Thanos thoughtlessly and effortlessly kills the trickster.

Gamora: The so-called “daughter of Thanos” meets her end when Thanos is told that the only way to obtain the Soul Stone is to kill someone he loves. Despite what Gamora believes, Thanos truly loves her (as much as you can love a child you kidnap after slaughtering most of her home planet) and sacrifices her by throwing her from a mountain top.

Vision: Vision entered this film as a dead man – or more accurately robot – walking. His forehead is home to the Mind Stone and destroying the stone will kill him. Since Thanos needs the Mind Stone to complete his plan, Vision convinces Wanda (aka Scarlet Witch) to use her power to destroy the stone. She succeeds, but Thanos uses the Time Stone to go back and grab the stone anyway which completes the Infinity Gauntlet.

With the gauntlet complete, Thanos now has the power to snap his fingers and wipe out half of all life across the entire galaxy. When he does, the following heroes turn to dust:

All of these deaths were a lot to process and the idea of never seeing these heroes on the big screen is a sad one – but I can guarantee you that some of them will return. Which ones are they?
