Thankfully, some fan-favorite characters are 100% guaranteed to return in future installments. Which characters?

Peter Parker (Spider-Man)

Weep not, Spidey fans – Peter Parker is definitely returning. Even with the knowledge that a sequel to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming had been announced and was coming in 2019, Peter’s death scene was the one that struck me (and many others) the most. This is a true testament to star Tom Holland’s immensely likeable performance as the teen-turned-web-crawler. Thankfully, we haven’t seen the last of what Holland or this character can offer.

T’Challa (Black Panther)

Wakanda forever! T’Challa will live to see another day (and lead many astonishingly successful films.) As with Spider-Man, Marvel has already confirmed that a sequel to this year’s wildly popular Black Panther is on the way so there is absolutely no way that T’Challa is staying dead.

Peter Quill (Star-Lord), Groot, Drax and Mantis

According to IMDB, a third-installment of Guardians of the Galaxy has been slated for 2020 and it is kind of hard to imagine that movie coming to fruition without, you know, The Guardians of the Galaxy. Rest assured that at least most of the gang will be back together (and alive) soon.
