In the Riverdale Season 2 finale, the town reels after the deadly riot as Jughead’s fate is revealed. Here’s everything you need to know!
Ahead of the Season 2 finale, Riverdale showed us most of its cards in a heart-stopping, high octane episode loaded with a season’s worth of story. Betty’s father, Hal Cooper, fessed up to his alias as the Black Hood killer and was hauled off in the back of a cop car. Veronica learned the depths of Hiram’s manipulation. Archie came face-to-face with another Black Hood killer, and Jughead’s life was left on the lift after a brutal beating. And that was the episode before the finale.
Riverdale’s season capper picks up with the contentious mayoral election, which will go on as planned between Fred and Hermione despite the Black Hood No. 2’s looming threats. Archie helps his dad pick up the lead, while Betty and Veronica each confront the wrongdoings of their fathers. Meanwhile, Cheryl takes the final steps in taking over the world as she signs on the dotted line for her emancipation from mommy dearest. Oh, and one last thing: Jughead’s fate is revealed.
