Shadowhunters season 3, episode 9 and 10 preview: Who’s in the most danger?

 Luke’s mission to rescue Clary

Like we saw in Shadowhunters season 3 episode 8, Luke will still be looking for any way to help get to Clary in Alicante, and he’s going to try to recruit the rest of the pack to help him. Other circumstances out of Luke’s control catch up to him, and they hold him back from being able help as much as he would have liked.

Don’t forget that Luke still has a full-time mundane career, but with his partner missing, his partner’s mother murdered, and his own recent time away from work while helping to solve this whole Lilith mystery, the NYPD has some valid questions about Luke’s innocence in all of this, and rightfully so. We’re not sure what these conflicts and suspicions could mean for his future as an officer, but there are concerns to address here in season 3B.

For the Luke and Maryse fans out there, we have some moments between these two fan-favorite characters, but the “kids” haven’t quite yet caught on to the fact that their parents’ friendship is growing. And without spoiling too much, we will also get a fight scene from Luke in episode 10 that brings out his Shadowhunter side as he fights alongside a different Shadowhunter for the first time — and they make a great team.
