During the ABC Upfronts earlier this week, trailers for the new fall and midseason shows were released. Here are six new shows coming to ABC to watch in the 2018-2019 season.

While there’s been a lot about current shows being canceled and renewed, there are many new shows coming to the networks in the 2018-2019 season. The Upfronts is a time to show all the promos for the various shows. ABC was able to show promos for the fall and midseason shows. Here are six new shows coming to ABC to watch next season.

There is something for all in this list, whether you love comedy or drama. These shows are a mixture of those coming in the fall and midseason and promos released are included.

A Million Little Things

Let’s start with a fall show, which will debut on Sundays in the fall. A Million Little Things is about a group of friends, who aren’t as close as they actually think. When one of the friends kills himself, the others come together and search for the reason why it happened. During the promo, you’ll see how it saved one person’s life and helps to bring others closer together.

This is going to be one of those shows that really pulls at the heartstrings. It looks like ABC’s attempt to bring the This Is Us fans across to the network.

Single Parents

When you want a fall comedy, one of the new shows coming to ABC is Single Parents. It’s set for Wednesday nights at 9:30/8:30c and brings Brad Garrett and Leighton Meester back to our screens full-time. The comedy is about a single father who is new to the area and is completely invested in being a dad. He’s so invested that he’s forgotten what it’s like to be an adult–and all other single parents at the school have totally been there.

For those who love comedies like The Big Bang TheoryThe Goldbergs, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, this is likely going to be one for you.

The Rookie

Nathan Fillion returns to our screens with The Rookie. This series is definitely going to be something for those who love a mixture of drama and comedy in their shows–and those who adore Fillion. The actor stars as the lead, who after a bank robbery and divorce decides it’s time to follow a new dream: to become a cop. The problem is he’s in his 40s and is older than most of the cops who rank higher than him. However, with age comes life experience that can be helpful.

If you love procedurals with a twist, this is going to be for you. It airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. in the fall.
