Big Brother 20 could be a hit for CBS in summer 2018. In order to ensure it, the network has released its first birthday promotional video. The new advertisement debuted on the same day as the Survivor season finale.

The Big Brother 20 preview, shown in the video below, is a huge tease from the network. While revealing some key elements for the summer 2018 installment, it is also devoid of real spoilers. A lot of fans want to know who will be in the BB20 cast. It’s not happening yet. Sorry.

It also leaves ample opportunity for BB20 cast rumors to show up on social media. Cast member leaks? Twist revelations? Guest stars? While those are all expectations of the reality competition show, not the time for those facets to come out.

This is something getting debated on social media, as the reality competition show debuted in 2000. While this might be the 20th summer season, the show isn’t quite 20 years old. Let’s not even add Big Brother: Over The Top and Celebrity Big Brother to the equation. Still, it’s a way to generate buzz. And that’s what these teasers are all about.

All clips from recent seasons?

The preview video shows a lot of people from recent seasons of the hit show. This doesn’t mean that they are returning to the Big Brother house. As previously reported by Inside the BB House, summer 2018 is entirely new. Casting has been progressing for a while, now, so it’s only a matter of time until host Julie Chen starts talking about the names. There will also be additional television spots to aid with the buzz for the show.
