Fear Island is almost here and it’s definitely not going to be a show you want to miss. This exclusive sneak clip of the episode, showing you footage of one very large bear.

Monster Week is starting to wrap for the year. While it’s disappointing, it does mean we’re a day closer to Fear Island. We’re closer to seeing Bradley Trevor Greive head deep into the Kootznoowoo wilderness; into the Fortress of the Bears.

This is definitely an episode that will keep you on the edges of your seats. Greive and his team go as deep as possible in the search for Grandfather, the largest bear to ever roam the earth. This wasn’t just a spur of the moment decision. It took Greive years to do the research and he needed to get approval from the local chief to go into the wilderness that hasn’t been touched by humans in 400-500 years.

Now we have another exclusive sneak peek into the episode. This clip shows you just how big the bear is, along with how powerful. The bear footage camera allows Greive and his team a chance to see the bears and get an idea of the height. It’s set at 6ft and you’ll be surprised at the view you get of the bear as it walks past. Check out the clip, before reading on for the rest of your Fear Island advance preview.

More from Exclusive

There are a few other shocking encounters throughout the episode. One for me was finding deer teeth in the bear’s scat. This sets off some alarm bells but is also an intriguing find. You’ll need to watch the episode to get a full idea of why the deer teeth could be there. If you can’t wait to find out, Greive shared more findings along the way that weren’t shown in full detail during the episode in an exclusive interview.

You may go into this episode as a skeptic. Don’t worry about that! Greive was a little skeptical when he first found out about Grandfather. This is all told with the help of Jonathan Legg experiencing everything for the first time. You’ll hear some of his doubt and questions at first, but you’ll definitely enjoy watching him turn into a believer as the evidence builds.

I’ll save the rest of the excitement and awe for the episode.
