Will Trent, ABC’s newest crime drama, has made a splash on the network whose Tuesday block is rife with crime solving content.

In this series, viewers are taken to Georgia as we follow Special Agent Will Trent on his cases. He has an impeccable close rate but, as the first two episodes of season 1 have shown, he needs more help than he’ll ask for. Therefore, his boss Amanda Wagner takes the choice out of his hands and assigns him a partner in Faith Mitchell, the daughter of the decorated officer he investigated and whose career he ruined.

To say tensions were high at the start would be an understatement, but Will and Faith have no choice but to find their rhythm. So far their relationship is comedically rocky at best, abrasively prickly at worst, and sometimes both all at the same time.

The exclusive clip we’re sharing with you is from tonight’s episode, “Don’t Let It Happen Again,” while Faith and Will are on the road headed to their next case. Watch below for a bit of humorous bickering to bring a laugh to your day.

“Don’t Let It Happen Again” premieres Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC and will be available to stream next day on Hulu.

The episode sees Will and Faith investigating a small-town murder that balloons into a bigger case when a connection to a decades-long cold case is made which suggests a cover up.

Meanwhile, back in the city, Angie will be dealing with the death of a security guard on a case that’s perplexing her. She’ll be doing this as she weighs an unexpected dinner invitation from Oremwood, which has the potential to bring up some bad memories from their shared history.
