Kailyn Lowry and Jo Rivera head to court – and hug it out afterwards

Kailyn Lowry and Jo Rivera went to court to deal with custody over Isaac but it ended with a surprising hug and cordial behavior.
Kailyn Lowry used to fight with Jo Rivera over their son Isaac, as documented in the previous seasons of Teen Mom 2. It was clear that they were both immature and Jo claimed he never had any money to help out with Isaac because he didn’t have a job. Rather than be mature and get a job, he always had an excuse which left Kailyn no option than to head to court.
However, it sounds like things have changed for Lowry. In fact, it appears that her relationship with Jo Rivera is actually rather mature now. Both have moved on and have had more kids while filming Teen Mom 2. It seems that they can now get along and can easily talk about Isaac without yelling at each other. During last night’s episode of Teen Mom 2, the two went to court to finalize some custody issues and they actually decided to hug it out after. It was Jo’s way of keeping things civil between them, as they tried to stay neutral for their son.

At the time, Kailyn Lowry could only laugh at him for his desire to hug things out, but it makes sense to stay neutral as they figure out what is best for Isaac.

Perhaps this is something Kailyn can use for her other relationships, including the one she has with Javi Marroquin. Whenever they film for MTV, they are always arguing and yelling at each other. While Javi may be into the whole hugging after court thing, Kailyn may not be there yet.
