5. Hannah Goebel killed her blind audition.

Hannah is from Nashville, TN and mesmerized the judges with her rendition of “If I Ain’t Got You.” In fact, it was good enough for Kelly Clarkson to immediately press the block button to ensure Alicia Keys didn’t get a chance. Indeed, Hannah’s performance was beautifully composed, with just enough raspy texture to remind of Bonnie Raitt or Bonnie Tyler.

Unfortunately, Hannah voluntarily left The Voice after round one. There is a lot of mystery and intrigue related to her departure. She has since released a statement on her various social media accounts, saying she left for personal reasons. Thankfully, she said the following:

"“I want to assure everyone that I am well; I still have my voice and am looking forward to a long music career and recording original songs in the near future.”"

It’s a shame Hannah had to leave the show. She had great potential and could have gone far.
