Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is a great movie, and a worthy extension of the franchise. Having said that, there are a few really dumb moments.

There are a few issues with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are great as the primary protagonists. A few others aren’t as enjoyable (looking at you nerd stereotype guy).

The premise of the movie is also a cool update of the franchise. There are multiple references to the original Jurassic Park that are excellent bonuses for fans of the series. On the other hand, it is fairly stupid to believe anyone would try the whole “let’s figure out how to coexist with dinosaurs”-thing again. The numerous, unmitigated catastrophes every other attempt caused should be a big enough red flag.

The positive aspects of the movie, however, are tainted by a few pretty absurd moments. Fair warning: there are spoilers ahead. Without further ado, here are the five dumbest parts of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
