Big Brother 20 returned for a new episode on Wednesday night. The September 19 episode has a lot to cover and would include another Eviction Ceremony. Someone would be heading to the jury house by the end of the hour.

As the night began, host Julie Chen was shown speaking with the final five houseguests. She was there to present the surprise eviction episode, but first, they needed to recap everything that had taken place recently. That included Brett Robinson getting sent packing at the Double Eviction, Angela Rummans winning the latest Big Brother 20 HOH, and then Angela nominating JC Mounduix and Sam Bledsoe for eviction.

Diary Room sessions

Angela had the first Diary Room session and stated that her decision about who to nominate was easy. Sam noted that this was the fourth time she has been on the block this summer and stated she was going to go win the Power of Veto. JC spoke about needing to win the veto to save himself. Tyler Crispen said the nominations “suck” because Sam and JC had been loyal to him all summer.

Power of Veto Competition

With only five people left in the game, everyone was allowed to play for the Power of Veto this week. It was a one-at-a-time competition, where each person had to work their way through a labyrinth in the backyard. They had to each get to stations before making the way to the end of it. The fastest houseguest to complete the maze correctly would win the Golden Power of Veto. Kaycee Clark ended up winning the Power of Veto

Big Brother 20 Veto Meeting

Kaycee decided to not use the Power of Veto this week. It meant that Sam Bledsoe and JC Mounduix would remain on the block. It was then time for the nominees to start trying to figure out if they were the target for eviction this time around. Kaycee then spoke in a Diary Room session about how the Level Six alliance had won 18 straight competitions. Sam and JC spoke during their turns, with each hoping that they were just a pawn.

The surprise Eviction Ceremony

Sam and JC gave their speeches and then it was up to Kaycee and Tyler to vote on who would become the seventh member of the BB20 jury. Kaycee and Tyler both voted to evict. Sam Bledsoe is now a member of the jury. She was very surprised when speaking with Julie Chen about being sent out the front door. She thought it was JC who would be going out the front door.

Head of Household Competition

The episode finished up with a Head of Household Competition between the final four people. Angela Rummans had to sit this one out, leaving JC Mounduix, Tyler Crispen, and Kaycee Clark to play for the guaranteed spot in the final three. The winner would also be making the final nominations of the summer. A lot was on the line.

The HOH revolved around answering questions about statements houseguests had made during the season. The person to get the most right (out of seven) would become the new HOH. JC Mounduix won the Head of Household Competition.
