Shadowhunters nominated for 5 People’s Choice Awards (and 4 of them were write-ins)!

By the angel! Shadowhunters is nominated for 5 People’s Choice Awards (4 of which were write-ins). Vote for #Shadowhunters as The Show of 2018, Bingeworthy Show and Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show, and for Kat McNamara and Harry Shum Jr. in TV Star categories!

By the angel! The Shadowhunters fans rallied over the past few weeks to pour their love into showing the People’s Choice Awards just how passionate they are about their favorite series. So much so that Shadowhunters went from being a nominee in one category to now being a final nominee in FIVE CATEGORIES.

It’s hard to research whether this has happened with write-ins before, but we have a strong feeling that the Shadowhunters fans shocked the People Magazine offices when the award organizers received the data.

Shadowhunters was in the preliminary round of nominations for Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show and fans were thrilled to see that Shadowhunters was represented, but they didn’t settle for just one category, using the write-in tool to nominate the show in additional categories.

What was Shadowhunters nominated for at the People’s Choice Awards 2018?

Shadowhunters is now up to win five different awards at the People’s Choice Awards 2018. They now have a chance of winning The Show of 2018, Most Bingeworthy Show of 2018, and Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show of 2018. In addition, Harry Shum Jr. was nominated in the Male Stars of 2018 category, and Kat McNamara for the Female Stars of 2018 category.

Did we mention that four out of five of these categories were WRITE-INS?!

Voting ends on Oct. 19, so be sure to vote every day (on multiple devices) — but we don’t need to tell you this, because you’ve already proven that you know how to complete the voting process…
