It’s party time on this week’s episode of NBC’s New Amsterdam, as Max and the other doctors prepare for a gala fundraiser in support of the hospital. Not only will Max be tasked with saving the hospital’s funding and keeping the donor list from getting any shorter, but he’ll also be called into action when there’s a medical emergency threatening the lives of everyone present.

The major story in New Amsterdam Season 1 Episode 6 will focus on the doctors having to control and stop an ancient disease from spreading across the hospital, and Max will need to jump from being the face of the fundraising gala to a leader “behind the scenes” in the efforts to save the lives of those affected by the outbreak.
