5 things to watch on Acorn TV in November 2018
4. The Heart Guy Season 3
Known as Doctor Doctor in Australia, The Heart Guy is a must see medical dramedy (that means drama and comedy together). Rodger Corser stars as the charming, genius doctor, as he returns to his hometown to become the local practitioner because of his out-of-control life.
He’s not exactly happy about the move and it soon becomes harder for him when tragedy strikes the Knight family. Just as it looks like he’s going to be able to return to Sydney this season, he realizes that Whyhope may always need him.
If you love the likes of Grey’s Anatomy and Doctors, this is certainly the show for you.
5. Line of Duty Season 4
Finally, it’s all about those who adore Bodyguard on Netflix. Line of Duty is created by the same man, Jed Mercurio, and is one of the BBC’s highest-rated shows of the year. Thandie Newton, Martin Compston, Vicky McClure, and Andrian Dunbar all star in the chilling drama.
Roz and her team are now under intense scrutiny from her superior officers while they attempt to track down someone suspected of serial murder. The young man suspected may not be guilty after all and Roz may be ignoring the key evidence that could help to completely close the case. When the AC-12 is called in, the branch becomes a target.
