2. Run

Before The Crown comes back with its new cast, you’ll want to catch one of those cast members in something else. Olivia Colman is in Run, which drops on Acorn TV later this month. With Lennie James, Katie Leung, and Katharina Schüttler, Run offers a four-part drama weaving the lives of four seemingly unconnected people together.

As the individuals make life-changing decisions in a world where choices are luxury, they find themselves pulled together. Every choice we make affects others around us and this series highlights that.

More from Entertainment

Since it’s Remembrance Day/Veterans Day on Nov. 11, Acorn TV offers military dramas focused on the First World War. The Trench is the one that you want to watch, focusing on a group of British soldiers during World War I stationed on the Western Front. Daniel Craig is one of those soliders and he stars alongside Cillian Murphy, James D. Arch, and Ben Wishaw.

While it may be a 1999 movie, it remains one of the most heartbreaking and shocking features set during the Great War. It all starts on the eve of the Battle of the Somme and you know that not everyone will be able to make it out of this alive.
