Marissa Jaret Winokur was on Celebrity Big Brother for CBS last winter. Now, she is heading back to the stage, where she will perform with Kermit the Frog in The Wonderful Winter of Oz.
It wasn’t long ago that Marissa Jaret Winokur was being crowned the Celebrity Big Brother winner. She did very well on the show, cultivating relationships that proved very valuable when the BB Celeb jury was voting. On the finale, Marissa beat out Ross Mathews to win the title of Big Brother champion. Now, fans of hers can see her back on the stage in a new Disney presentation.

The acting credits of Marissa Jaret Winokur
Before entering the Big Brother house, Marissa had found a lot of success on the stage and screen. She won a Tony Award played Tracy Turnblad in the Broadway musical Hairspray. She also appeared on television in the sitcom Stacked and as a competitor on Dancing With the Stars. Additionally, from 2010-2011 she served as a co-host on the daily daytime talk show The Talk, spending a lot of time with Big Brother host Julie Chen.
While Big Brother 20 was taking place, Marissa and Ross Mathews hosted a show called Off The Block. They would meet with evicted houseguests the day after they got sent home and have guest stars that had been inside the BB house in the past. It was a great way to get candid interviews from BB20 cast members and a lot of Facebook users tuned in to watch the program each week.
Maybe she will come back to help host one of the Celebrity Big Brother 2 competitions following her time on The Wonderful Winter of Oz. Tickets are still available for those performances in Pasadena this holiday season.
