For the whole of December, we’ve celebrated the runup to Christmas with the 25 Days of Sam-mas. That’s coming to an end today, celebrating Christmas Day the only way we know how in the Supernatural fandom. It’s all about the GIFs.
Quite honestly, we all know there’s a running joke about GIFs. We really do have a GIF for everything. I proved it last year with Cas-mas and now I’m going to prove it with Sam-mas.

It’s Christmas!
Let’s start with the moment you wake up on Christmas morning and realize that it’s Christmas! You know, when you’re slowly waking up and wishing you could just have five more minutes in bed and then remember that there are plenty of presents waiting for you?

While opening presents
As you open those gifts and see what people got you, there’s the moment you’re not too sure if you like it or not. Of course, the person who got you the gift is totally impressed with their buy. They put their heart into it…or did they?
And sometimes you’re trying to explain the gift to the person that received it. Yeah, that’s not always going down well…this isn’t something you want to buy!
When someone says food and booze are out
Christmas dinner is one of the best parts of the day. This is the perfect day to stuff yourself silly. But then there’s the booze, and the chocolate, and the snacks, and the dessert. Oh, there’s so much and you just know you get this devilish grin.
The end of the night
By the end of Christmas, you’re done for another year. You’re looking forward to tomorrow when it’s all over and the family go home. It’s time snuggle up on the couch with your favorite Christmas movies (or episodes of Supernatural, of course). You don’t care if you’re being anti-social.
