25 Days of Sam-mas Day 1: Celebrating the wonderful Sam Winchester
Remember when we celebrated the runup to Christmas last year with Cas-mas? This year, the SPN Hunters writers are celebrating with Sam-mas.
Freeform likes to do the 25 Days of Christmas. It’s a chance to countdown the days until we get to open our presents, stuff ourselves guilt-free full of turkey and chocolate, and enjoy time with our families. Last year, we took a leaf out of Freeform’s book with a Supernatural twist and brought Cas-mas. This year, it’s the 25 Days of Sam-mas.
This is a chance to celebrate all things Sam Winchester. That doesn’t mean we’re not fans of the other characters. We really are, but for one month and one month only, you’ll get a post every day in the runup to Christmas about the younger Winchester brother. This is guaranteed every single day.
Why 25 Days of Sam-mas?
More from Supernatural
- Jensen Ackles and The Winchesters cast kick off #SaveTheWinchesters campaign
- Will The Winchesters be saved? (Can Supernatural fans save the prequel?)
- Did The Winchesters get renewed? (Is The Winchesters season 2 happening?)
- Is a new episode of The Winchesters on tonight? (March 14, 2023)
- The Winchesters Season1 finale explained: Did it connect to Supernatural?
Without Sammy, there wouldn’t be Supernatural. Without Sammy, there wouldn’t be Dean. We know how dedicated he is to his little brother; how much Sam means compared to every single other person in the world.
So, this month it’s time to celebrate all things Sam. We’ll look at the transformation of the character over the years, what we hope to see from him in the next few episodes, and why he is so popular with so many people.
And, of course, we can’t forget the goodness of Jared Padalecki. There will be posts dedicated to the man who plays our Sammy.
Not a fan of Sam?
Not everyone is a Sam!Girl. Admittedly, I’m a Dean!Girl, but Sam has grown on me immensely over the last few years. There is so much potential for character development and he’s such an invaluable character on the show.
But I get it. You don’t want all your month filled up with Sam Winchester content. Don’t worry! Like we did with Cas-mas, there will still be other content throughout the day. We tend to post 3-5 posts a day, especially on the weekdays, so you can be guaranteed to get a mixture of content throughout the month.
Each day, I’ll come back to update this post with all the links as each post goes live. You’ll have one place to go to find all the new Sam-focused content.
