3. The Riddler’s still in the dark

We pick up the Riddle’s trail as he’s still missing gaps in his memory. This time, he picks up finding a biker half-dead in his tub, whom he apparently interrogated to find his gang.

They arrive to see that all the bikers are dead and the words “Penguin did this” smeared across the brick wall. Biker dude tells Riddler that whoever did this “just started one hell of a war,” which is what it seems was Ed Nygma’s plan.

4. More questions about Mother and Orphan

We got our first look at Mother and Orphan in this episode, as mentioned above, and these two minor villains really don’t get fleshed out too much. Mother is some crazy old lady, who goes on about how she found the young boy (who is extremely well-dressed for the apocalyptic-like setting of Gotham City) in the dark zone and he is devoted to her.

Yes, it ties into the young boy (I’m assuming David Cain) and how he will become a devoted assassin on her behalf, but I’m hoping we get more info as to how they met and his backstory. As readers of the comics know, the pair tie in heavily with Scarecrow so I’m hoping that he played a part in their first encounter, or they will meet up later in the season.
