This Celebrity Big Brother recap comes from Season 2 Episode 3 and aired January 23 on CBS. It is the final episode of a three-night premiere, where it is advertised that the Power of Veto Competition will be shown.

Episode 3 from Season 2 began with the familiar Celebrity Big Brother recap from the previous night. At the end of the last hour, the first Nomination Ceremony took place in the game. As Head of Household, Ryan Lochte nominated Tom Green and Anthony Scaramucci for eviction. The third nominee was Jonathan Bennett, as it was a punishment for losing the first HOH Competition of the season.

Nomination Ceremony reactions

Tom and Anthony were not pleased with being on the block and they were each trying to figure out a way to get off the block. Meanwhile, Natalie Eva Marie walked into a room with Lolo Jones and said they needed to come up with a final two name. She didn’t see Tamar Braxton was also in the room, forcing some immediate backpedaling and a lot of drama.

Elsewhere in the house, Lolo got upset that she thought Ryan and Jonathan were working together. There was a lot of drama building up in the house, made worse when Lolo flipped off Ryan as he was joking around with Jonathan. Tamar Braxton and Kandi Burruss had a blow-up a bit later as well, rehashing some of their old dramas.

Veto Meeting

Ricky Williams and Joey Lawrence joined Ryan Lochte, Jonathan Bennett, Anthony Scaramucci, and Tom Green for the first Veto Competition.

Veto Competition

The six competing houseguests had to ride on a rocking horse and then race across the backyard to stack gold bricks on a rotating horseshoe. In between stacking, they had to run back to the horse and ride it to restart their clocks. It was a silly competition, made sillier by Joey trying to throw it, but not doing it very secretively. It came down to Tom and Ricky, but Ricky Williams won the Power of Veto.

Season 2 Episode 3 Celebrity Big Brother recap continues

Ricky acted a bit frustrated that he won the Power of Veto. He stated in a Diary Room session that he was trying to lay low, and winning a competition this early wouldn’t help that goal. There was a lot of additional infighting going on in the house, especially between Kandi and Tamar, which might just continue through the rest of the season.

Veto Ceremony

Ricky Williams hosted a Veto Ceremony toward the end of the episode. He decided to not use his Power of Veto. This meant that the nominations would remain the same. That left Jonathan Bennett, Anthony Scaramucci, and Tom Green on the block. But would it stay that way?
