The Good Place Season 3 finale preview: Are we in for another game-changing cliffhanger?

In the Season 3 finale of The Good Place, Eleanor and Michael follow through with their plan with a few bumps in the road. Will there be pandemonium?
It’s that time of the year again, when we bid adieu to our favorite afterlife citizens for a few months. The Good Place drops its third season finale and with it, probably jaws around the world. But fear not. Should the season finale leave us with another cliffhanger (we should come to expect them at this point), all of our questions will be answered when the fourth season premieres later this fall on NBC. After the twists and turns of Season 3, who could imagine where the next might take us?
In last week’s episode of The Good Place, Michael struck up a deal with Sean and The Judge regarding the broken point system between the Good and Bad Places. To prove the system needs to be repaired, Michael will duplicate the torture experiment he conducted on Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani, and Jason to demonstrate how they new four strangers will also work together to improve themselves.
Given Michael’s hesitance, the latest social experiment taking place in Mindy St. Clair’s backyard will be an uphill battle for the entire afterlife.

Can Michael rise to the occasion and lead this mission to save the afterlife? Will Eleanor have to stand up and put everything she’s learned to the test? What additional bumps in the road will the gang endure while trying to save their souls?
Are Janet and Jason going to act on their feelings for each other this time around? And most importantly, has Chidi recovered from his scarring experience with the time-knife at the IHOP?
