Celebrity Big Brother recap: Season finale spoilers, CBB2 winner

The final episode of Celebrity Big Brother 2 aired on Wednesday, February 13. It was a two-hour episode, wrapping up the winter 2019 installment of the reality competition show.

The Celebrity Big Brother recap for the season finale is packed with information. There was a lot for the producers to cover, as five houseguests were still playing the game as Episode 13 began. There was also a lot of pre-taped footage that had to be shown.

Final five HOH Competition

At the end of the last episode, a new Head of Household Competition began. Lolo Jones had to sit it out as the outgoing HOH, leaving Ricky Williams, Tamar Braxton, Kandi Burruss, and Dina Lohan to play for the power. Ricky Williams won the HOH.

Ricky Williams Nomination Ceremony

Ricky nominated Dina Lohan and Kandi Burruss, putting them on the block at the final Nomination Ceremony of the season. The ladies would still have a chance to save themselves from the block at the final Veto Competition.

Who won the final Celebrity Big Brother Power of Veto?

Everyone got to play for the Power of Veto this time, with a lot of importance placed upon the results. Dina and Kandi knew they would have to be successful guarantee their respective safety. They didn’t. Lolo Jones won the POV.

Lolo Jones hosts Veto Meeting

After discussing some different options about what she could do with the Power of Veto, it was time for Lolo to decide who would finish the cycle on the block. Lolo did not use the POV. This meant that Dina and Kandi would remain on the block.

First eviction vote

Dina and Kandi spoke about why they should remain in the house and then Tamar and Lolo had to vote on the eviction. Lolo voted to evict Kandi and Tamar voted to evict Dina, creating a tie that HOH Ricky had to break. Ricky Williams evicted Kandi Burruss.

Final Celebrity Big Brother 2 HOH Competition

Dina, Ricky, Lolo, and Tamar all got to play in the final Head of Household Competition for the season. The winner of the final HOH would get to decide who sat next to them in the final two. It came down to a tiebreaker question between Ricky and Tamar. Ricky Williams won the final HOH Competition.

Final Celebrity Big Brother 2 Eviction Ceremony

Ricky stood up in front of the final four houseguests and evicted Dina Lohan and Lolo Jones. The in-studio audience was absolutely shocked by what had just taken place. It meant that the final two houseguests would be Ricky Williams and Tamar Braxton.

CBB2 jury chooses the Celebrity Big Brother 2 winner

Ricky Williams and Tamar Braxton answered questions from the CBB2 jury and then it was time for the vote. When host Julie Chen Moonves started pulling the keys from the voters, it was revealed that Tamar Braxton won Celebrity Big Brother 2. She won by a vote of 9-0.

As for America’s Favorite Houseguest, that went to Tom Green, who takes home a $25,000 prize for that honor. For finishing in second place, Ricky Williams wins $50,000.
