There’s no denying Temptation Island has turned into the Morgan and Evan show. What other couples will form and threaten the long-standing relationships?

The last time we saw Temptation Island, Johnny was wooing Kady while Evan and Morgan were making marriage plans. More of the same follows, and there is a huge twist.

As the episodes continue, it becomes painfully obvious the video editing of Temptation Island plays a key part of determining relationship success. Well, other than with Evan and Kaci, because they’re completely done, whether Kaci believes it or not.

Previous odds of success

The most recent odds of success on Temptation Island are as follows:

Karl & Nicole – 70%
John & Kady – 10%
Evan & Kaci – 4%
Javen & Shari – 10%

Elimination Time!!

Cameron brought Kaci flowers while she was talking to Matt. It was a massive c**k-block move, but it didn’t matter because she wasn’t feeling Matt anyway. Oh, also, Evan turned down sex the night before with Morgan. Obviously.

Surprise, surprise, the guys get to vote out two women. They have to select the bottom three and deliberate. Tara, Sheldyn, and Hannah are on the bottom. John’s upset about getting called out by Hannah, mostly because she treated him how Kady does. Hannah knows this and acknowledges it. In the end, Hannah is saved by the other three men.

The women also get to vote out two single men! Jack avoids the bottom three because he “has a hot body.” Ultimately, Matt, Scott, and Cameron are in the bottom three. Based solely on the conversation earlier, Matt is gone. Then Cameron leaves because the other three women don’t appreciate his “William McNamara as the Copycat serial killer“-vibe.

Before the bonfires

It’s surprising what’s happening. Brittney and Hannah have a brief conversation, and Brittney doesn’t like the negative vibe. Hannah is still salty because she was bottom three. Evan talks to Katelyn about how he’s falling for Morgan. Kayla is hitting on Javen, and helping him with his ironing. While she’s in her bikini. Surprisingly, Jeffri is the happiest about it. Additionally, Dr. John and Kady have a heart to heart, which leaves her crying because he wants to kiss her and can’t. More importantly, Kaci is uncertain about Evan’s actions.

Completely oblivious. Back to the Morgan and Evan show. They both say they’re falling in love the one another. Morgan goes topless as she dives under the covers. The screen fades and she says “it feels good.” Evan follows it up with breakfast in bed and a confession of their tryst.

The guys go to the bonfire

As the guys head to the bonfire, Evan says he doesn’t regret anything. He says it enough that it’s clear he’s just trying to convince himself. Regardless of his words, he regrets how this happened and his mind is in conflict with his heart.

Evan watches Kaci awkwardly dancing with the guys, having fun, and makes him feel good about it. This show is so brutally toying with their emotions.

Javen is next, and he sees Shari also dancing around. Javen doesn’t take it as well as Evan, but he feels pretty good about Shari having fun.

Karl sees Tyler in Nicole’s bed, relaxing with her, moving his hand suspiciously under the covers. He’s pissed and uncertain about his future on the show.

Last but not least, John gets to see Kady hanging all over Dr. John in the pool, followed by hand on  ass and in bed with one another. So Kady upgraded from a John to a Dr. John. The floodgates are now open. Game over man, game over.

One final twist is the fact the guys get to send a short message to their girlfriends, or former girlfriends depending on point of view.

The ladies go to the bonfire

Two seconds in, Kaci and Kady are both crying. Shari starts, shares with everyone and sees nothing. Nicole sees Brittney and Karl get cozy, and she also handles it well. Kady’s still crying but feels less guilty when Katheryn forcibly kisses John.

Kaci, however, chooses to listen with earbuds. She doesn’t watch. She’s the proverbial ostrich with her head in the sand. The other three avert their eyes as well, and all Kaci knows is the presence of a girl in Evan’s room.

Somehow, she wants people to respect her stupid decision of uncertainty. And then throws a fit when being interviewed, as if completely moronic decisions are supposed to be respected without question. Here are five other good examples:

  1. I’m getting a face tattoo; respect my decision.
  2. I’m marrying the hooker; respect my decision.
  3. I’m microwaving this can of beans; respect my decision.
  4. I’m petting that alligator; respect my decision.
  5. I’m investing everything into Blockbuster video; respect my decision.

Current chance of success

  • Karl & Nicole – 50%, Karl’s been misled by Temptation Island video editing.
  • Javen & Shari – 20%, They actually seem to be getting better.
  • John & Kady – 5%, The straw broke the camel’s back; John’s full throttle.
  • Evan & Kaci – 0%, Maybe Kaci will get an invite to the wedding.
