The inevitable escalation.

I guess maybe Dawson didn’t like the cut of this lady’s “can I talk to the manager” hair but he essentially poisons her with strawberries (which she is deathly allergic to, as is mentioned multiple times) and makes it kind of look like Jeanie did it! Jeanie is officially extra suspicious of Dawson and tries to report him to the precinct. I had to laugh when the woman she spoke with was straight-up like: “Well we give all the officers the benefit of the doubt so tough luck.” I mean, it’s a little too realistic right?

Poor Jeanie. All she wanted was to live vicariously through Amanda’s drama. Instead, she winds up dead! Interestingly enough, they don’t show the guys face who kills her. Could Detective Dawson be innocent?

Given that the guy he framed for the stalking escapes, and the first thing he does is frame him AGAIN (I mean seriously dude how do you fall for this twice?), my guess is no. But he slips up when he tells Amanda that he took care of the escaped stalker.

He tells her the “b*st*rd is dead.” A phrase verbatim to what Amanda told Liam earlier in the day. I mean it’s honestly a pretty common sentiment when you’re being stalked but I digress, she wasn’t wrong technically and she and recently reunited Liam find out Dawson has been spying on her with cameras!

The final act

Dawson doesn’t take kindly to Amanda’s accusations about him, even though they’re 100% true. He once believed she was his soul mate, but in light of her betrayal, he’s prepared to kill her. But Amanda is smart enough to try and bluff her way out of the situation. She pretends to have cameras set up to record and information sent out to all the media outlets nearby but Dawson calls her on her bluff.

Amanda barely escapes by macing him when Liam comes to her rescue! By the time Dawson turns the gun on Liam, Amanda has bolted. I don’t blame her, leave these two nutjobs to duel it out themselves.

Once Dawson is finally apprehended, it appears Amanda and Liam may get their happy ending! But wait, there’s a twist! Remember how Amanda hit her stalker with a camera way back in the beginning of the movie? Well, the photo was developed and it wasn’t Dawson in the frame.

Who’s Stalking Me? supplies a final twist – It was Liam. Dun dun dun.

Poor Amanda. At least she booked a fancy client, hopefully, that money will put her through extensive therapy.
